How to prepare our Polenta with Black Summer Truffles or Truffled Polenta: our Instant Polenta mix is easy and quick to prepare. Bring about 1.5 litres of water to the boil and season with salt; slowly pour in the instant truffle polenta and stir continuously with a wooden spoon or a whisk to prevent lumps from forming, for about 10/15 min, until it becomes thick and fluffy. You can make it thicker or looser by reducing or increasing the amount of water; we recommend 500ml of water for the first portion and then 250ml for each additional portion. Serve the Truffle Polenta with a drizzle of olive oil. Depending on local traditions, it can be used to accompany game, fish (see the recipe for Truffled Polenta with Baccalà), cheese, sausages, porcini mushrooms or any other ingredient you may think of. The recommended serving size is 80g per person, so our 300g packet serves 4 persons.
